They know it- we should too

It is late but I wanted to throw this out there for those undecided friends.

Many on both sides want the same things but differ on how it is to be achieved. As a parent and wife I know the power of compromise. Compromise is what makes things supported and successful!

"I have the battle scars to prove .." is not moving us forward but keeping us back. The my way or the highway and VETO stick in Washington has got to GO. This thought process has roots! And to kill that WEED we need to start by electing the RIGHT president. One who has the skills and experience needed to be that CHANGE AGENT.

Barack Obama taught constitutional law (so no Libby or Marc Rich pardons), he was a civil rights lawyer (HE KNOWS the stuggle), he pounded the pavement in the South Side of Chicago trying to engage the down and out, and in the IL senate he tackled ethics reform and police interogations (the death penalty process was BROKEN so bad we stopped) and healthcare.

When this FRESHMAN senator hits washington -you know what- they do not give him the easy! He is put where our country needs him. Dick Lugar calls him up for foreign relations (LINK). And then he lands his feet with veterans affairs and homeland security.

Washington gave him the hard because they even know that this man Barack Obama is that leader and CHANGE AGENT that can bring us into the 21st century!

Washington sees it- and if they do- we should take notice too.
