- What inspires you about Barack Obama?
- We need to be refreshed...revitalized...envigorated...inspired. These are the feelings that stir when listening to Barack Obama. When he speaks of hope, honesty and accountability, I believe it tugs at something primal deep inside of me. Something that I know has been missing. Something that I have always believed was possible, but certainly not probable. Now I see it. On the horizon, a new day. And when I look at the faces of his supporters, I can see that this is what they are sensing. They are tapping into that shared dream that we all have...that all Americans have, regardless of Party. We all want America to be the free, fair, and just nation that we claim to be. We want to believe that the United States really stands for something. Not just mottos and slogans. Something real. Something tangible. We want to be able to hold our heads high again. We want to be able to sleep at night.
Ultimately it comes down to the fact that he inspires and restores my hope for a candidate who can bridge our differences, spark our spirit and better our legacy.
